Specialist IT Security & Infrastructure

About the role

As a Specialist IT Security & Infrastructure, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security and infrastructure of PT Mitra Solusi Telematika's IT systems. This full-time position is based in Cilandak, Jakarta and will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's information and technology assets are protected.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and secure the company's entire IT infrastructure including networks, servers, databases, and application systems across the head office and subsidiaries
• Protect systems from cybersecurity threats such as hacking, malware, and other cyberattacks through the implementation and maintenance of optimal security tools
• Ensure stable LAN network connectivity across all project sites and group network while minimizing infrastructure disruptions
• Conduct continuous monitoring, regular audits, and unusual activity identification to detect potential security breaches and system inefficiencies
• Execute network testing, firewall testing, security patch deployment, and new protocol implementation as required
• Perform periodic infrastructure evaluations, collaborate with stakeholders to develop performance metrics, and produce regular system security status reports
• Ensure optimal maintenance of all company technology assets and provide technical support for smooth business operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT security-focused role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
• Strong technical expertise in network security, access management, and vulnerability management
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and identity and access management
• Experience in conducting security assessments, incident response, and developing and implementing security policies and controls
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
