Specialist Motorcycle Technician

At On Yer Bike, we are looking for a Specialist Motorcycle Technician to join our premier workshop team near Aylesbury. As an official dealer for Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi, this role is designed for a senior tech who thrives on technical challenges and wants to work with some of the most advanced two-wheeled technology on the market.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working in our modern, fully equipped workshop, you will handle our most technical and in-depth jobs:

• Complex Diagnostics: Utilizing advanced factory diagnostic tools to troubleshoot intricate electrical, electronic, and fuel injection issues.
• Major Mechanical Work: Performing detailed engine, gearbox, and chassis rebuilds, as well as complex mechanical repairs to high standards.
• Brand Specialism: Working directly on flagships and high-performance models across Ducati, Kawasaki, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi.
• MOT Testing: Conducting Class 2 MOT inspections and ensuring full DVSA compliance across all tested machines.
• Quality & Technical Mentorship: Assisting with quality control checks and supporting mid-level technicians with complex technical queries.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: Extensive experience in a franchised motorcycle dealership or high-level specialist workshop environment.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced diagnostic skills, strong electrical fault-finding ability, and deep experience with modern engine systems.
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent proven master/senior tech experience).
• MOT Tester: Active DVSA Class 2 MOT Tester status is highly preferred.
• License: Full UK motorcycle license (Class A) is essential.
