Specialist Process Engineer/ Senior Process Engineer (MEMS)

Job Summary:

Establish the MEMS-specific manufacturing process while driving yield, quality, and scrap reduction improvement to achieve lower manufacturing costs and higher manufacturing excellence.

Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and workflow for the products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive continuous process, yield & quality improvement in MEMS processes, with a strong focus on mastering and managing the MEMS release process (e.g., wet etching).
• Drive cost-reduction programs related to process or materials.
• Buy off and qualify new machine models and define workmanship criteria to support operation.
• Lead, evaluate, and qualify new materials, designs, and processes as required for specific NPIs.
• Analyze and identify the root cause of customer return units and derive corrective and preventive measures.
• Controls process-related documents, including manufacturing specifications, FMEA, Control plans, and OCAP.
• Working with MEMS design team,  test and reliability teams as and when needed.
• Train, coach, and guide technicians and operators as required.
• Establishing and maintaining procedures consistent with QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards certification.
• Performs other work as assigned from time to time.

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Chemical.
• 5+ years of previous working experience in in wafer fab, wet etching process, and manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CP, FMEA, OCAP, SPC, and 8D Problem-Solving Reporting Methods.
• Applicants with Minitab, JMP, 6 Sigma, DOE, and ESD knowledge are an added advantage.
