We are the solely buying office of the MediaMarkt Saturn Retail Group in Asia for its own brands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage shipment inspections, working closely with testing and inspection laboratories, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely product release and effective follow-up actions.
• Support the development and maintenance of inspection checklists, as well as continuous product quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining quality and service-related documentation, including verification and processing of testing and inspection laboratory invoices.
• Conduct testing and maintain quality reference samples, test benches, and laboratory equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate spare parts ordering, shipment arrangements, packing, and inspection activities.
• Provide support to the Quality Manager on ad hoc projects and other quality-related tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Product Testing, Compliance, or a related field.
• Experience in consumer electronics and household appliances (SDA/MDA), buying offices, or testing laboratories is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of European product regulations, testing standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, detail-oriented, and reliable approach to work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with practical experience using AI and automation tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Knowledge or experience in Sustainability and ESG-related initiatives is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to China occasionally
• Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Junior Specialist, Quality Management.
