Specialist Solution Architect, Cloud Services

For our client, we are seeking a Specialist Solution Architect, Cloud Services to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

In this customer-facing technical role, you will partner closely with account teams to help enterprise customers design and adopt cloud solutions that align with their business goals. You will guide architecture decisions, remove technical blockers, and translate complex requirements into practical solutions across the full application lifecycle. This position blends pre-sales and post-sales support, with a strong emphasis on consultative solution design, executive engagement, and continuous improvement of the company's cloud services.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,910 – $241,440 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to identify customer challenges and use cases
• Assist in mitigating blockers to cloud adoption
• Provide technical guidance for enterprise-approved cloud architecture
• Design and execute tailored solutions for customer obstacles
• Offer ongoing product feedback to enhance cloud services
• Support customer solution designs that meet business needs
• Facilitate pre- and post-sales activities including workshops and proof of concepts

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, such as sales engineer or IT architect
• Strong knowledge of major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• Hands-on experience with managed cloud services
• Solid understanding of cloud platform offerings
• Consultative selling skills with business-focused solution design
• Proven ability to build relationships with technical and executive stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of the full application lifecycle and CI/CD tooling
