Specialist.HSE.I

The Specialist HSE I will support the EP 0332-062-00292 HSE‑Support‑9302 department by implementing and monitoring the company's HSE program. This role focuses on conducting risk assessments, driving corrective actions, and promoting a culture of safety to meet occupational health and safety objectives while safeguarding all personnel and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk analyses and hazard assessments across all operational areas.
• Develop, update, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Monitor compliance with local, national, and company HSE regulations.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses, and accidents; prepare root‑cause analyses and corrective action plans.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Perform site inspections and audits; report findings to management.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning.
• Track and analyze HSE performance metrics; recommend improvements.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero‑harm goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local occupational safety regulations.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (JHA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and training delivery abilities.
• Ability to conduct investigations and prepare clear incident reports.
• Proficiency in HSE management software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of programming, automation tools, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance HSE processes, risk analysis, incident reporting, and decision-making.
