Specialized Advisor – Contractor/Professional Customer Services

Our Expectations:

The Specialized Advisor represents the RONA brand to professional customers while focusing on business development and the retention of existing clients. This role is essential to customer satisfaction and achieving our sales objectives, all within a collaborative environment where teamwork is highly valued.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain business relationships with professional customers/contractors by providing exceptional customer service and effectively addressing their needs.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from contractor customers.
• Communicate with customers and follow up on their orders.
• Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions to promote customer loyalty and sales growth.
• Act as the in-store product expert by providing product information and guidance to customers and fellow RONA associates.
• Meet Pro customer call targets.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to maximize sales opportunities.
• Support the implementation of corporate merchandising standards and, when necessary, propose alternative products to optimize results.
• Participate in managing inventory specific to professional customers, ensuring products are available in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
• Support the Outside Sales Representative in maintaining and expanding the customer base.

Skills We Are Looking For:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
• Comfortable using computer systems and technology.
• Experience working with contractor/professional customers is an asset.
• Knowledge of renovation and home improvement products.
