What they need

Dear Applicant

Thank you for your interest in joining our team! Please read through the following thoroughly. This is a long - term position that will be filled by a candidate who is willing to commit to providing support as part of a dedicated, highly-skilled team of professionals for an extended period of time. We put a lot of care and effort into our hiring process, as we are committed to providing our clients and their families with the highest quality support.

About the Role

We are a small but mighty organization that supports autistic individuals with sensory, motor, and communication differences. Our goal is to help them and their families build meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

One of the ways we do this is through providing individualized ABA support that reflects the most current research and respectful, neuro-affirming practices. We combine the science of behavior analysis, neurology and psychology in our approach, and are looking to grow our team with people who know that autistic people deserve better than the standard of care that is currently available.

As a Specialized RBT on our team, you’ll work one-on-one with clients to implement ABA programs in a unique way. Your focus will be to build autonomy, communication, regulation, and overall wellness and quality of life throughout the school, home, and community settings.

This ABA environment is not one you've experienced before. We do things differently, and we need people who want to learn, unlearn, and be part of a team that chooses what feels right over what feels easy.

This isn’t just about behavior plans or goals on paper—it’s about building a meaningful, trusting relationship with clients, so that they feel understood and capable in their growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct support to clients using care plans designed by a supervising BCBA
  • Help clients build skills in communication, self-regulation, and everyday autonomy
  • Support families and caregivers
  • Track and report client progress clearly and accurately
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to support each client’s overall well-being.

What You Bring

  • RBT certification (or an interest in getting certified)
  • Experience or interest in neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approaches
  • A grounded, calm presence—even in high-stress or emotionally intense situations
  • Strong communication skills with clients, families, and teammates
  • Commitment to client privacy and ethical practices, including HIPAA compliance
  • A desire to learn new techniques and strategies that are not yet widely known or accepted
  • A genuine interest in supporting people with diverse needs to live fuller, more connected lives
  • A desire and dedication to the field of autism care, especially for nonspeaking and minimally speaking individuals

Why This Role Matters

Specialized RBTs are essential to the work we do. You’ll be helping people make meaningful changes—not just in therapy sessions, but in real life. Your support will directly shape someone’s sense of what's possible.

Thank you so much for applying to join us!
