Specialty Operations Pharmacist

For our client, we are seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This remote role will support prescription accuracy and clinical decision-making across a fast-paced pharmacy operation. The pharmacist will review inbound calls from patients and providers, evaluate potential drug interactions, and determine appropriate next steps within established guidelines. Success in this role will require strong judgment, clear communication, and effective collaboration to help meet team targets and deadlines.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $115,200 – $158,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Receive and review inbound calls from patients and providers regarding prescription accuracy
• Assess drug interactions using available resources and guidelines
• Utilize problem-solving skills for clinical decisions
• Interpret varied assignments and determine appropriate actions based on guidelines
• Make independent decisions in ambiguous situations when necessary
• Collaborate effectively with teammates to meet targets and deadlines
• Maintain a focused work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Bachelor of Science or PharmD)
• Active PHARMACIST license from Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume pharmacy settings
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications
