Specification and Market Development Specialist

About the role

Responsible for developing new market opportunities, promoting the Company's products, and building relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, customers, and other industry stakeholders. The role also covers product specification, business development, marketing, social media management, events, and brand promotion, with the objective of increasing project opportunities, market presence, and Company revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new market and business opportunities.
• Promote and secure product specifications with architects, engineers, consultants, and developers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and follow up on new projects and potential customers.
• Manage LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Plan and support marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers on project requirements.
• Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and project information.
• Support the Company's brand visibility, business growth, and revenue development.

Additional Responsibilities

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market positioning.
• Maintain a database of projects, consultants, architects, customers, and business contacts.
• Prepare and conduct product presentations, technical briefings, and company presentations.
• Collect and maintain project photos, project references, testimonials, and marketing content.
• Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, tender documents, and presentations when required.
• Attend site visits, client meetings, exhibitions, seminars, networking events, and industry functions.
• Follow up on leads and enquiries generated through marketing activities and social media platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Specification, Marketing or technical sales field.
• Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business, Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
