Specification Officer

Key Responsibilities

Specification Development

• Promote company products and solutions to architects, consultants, engineers, interior designers, and developers.
• Secure specifications for company products in project plans and tender documents.
• Identify and track new project opportunities from concept to completion.
• Ensure products are specified in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and project owners.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Serve as the key point of contact for specification-related inquiries.

Project Tracking & Coordination

• Monitor project pipelines and update project status regularly.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure smooth conversion of specified projects into sales.
• Collaborate with internal departments including technical, marketing, and customer service teams.

Technical & Product Support

• Provide technical advice and product recommendations.
• Prepare specifications, product submissions, and technical documentation.
• Support customers with product information, compliance requirements, and application guidance.

Market Intelligence

• Gather market insights, competitor information, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities to expand product specifications and market share.
• Provide regular feedback to management on customer needs and emerging market opportunities.

Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of specification activities and customer interactions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
• Track KPIs related to specification wins and project conversions.
