Specimen Processor - 3rd Shift

Role: Specimen Processor in a high-throughput laboratory environment, primarily working during the third shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack, route, identify, label, and pack specimens accurately.
• Perform precise data entry of patient information.
• Resolve and document issues with problem specimens.
• Achieve departmental activity and production targets.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Ability to accurately identify specimens.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Passes standardized color blindness test.
