Specimen Processor

Job Role: Specimen Processor responsible for preparing and processing laboratory specimens in a high-throughput environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpack, identify, label, and document specimens accurately according to standard procedures
• Route specimens to appropriate staging and testing areas
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Perform precise data entry of patient information

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to handle biological specimens safely and comfortably
• Strong organizational and data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Pass standardized colorblindness test
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Preferred: one or more years of laboratory, accessioning, production, or warehouse experience

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm, with rotating weekends.
