Specimen Processor I (Second Shift)

Role: Specimen Processor I responsible for preparing, processing, and routing laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing in a high-volume environment.

Key Duties

• Prepare, unpack, identify, label, and route specimens according to procedures
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Perform accurate data entry of patient information and specimen tracking
• Identify, document, and resolve problem specimens while meeting production goals

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to handle biological specimens safely
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Preferred: 1+ year lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse experience

This role offers compensation between $17.75 and $20.00 per hour, including a second-shift differential.
