Specimen Processor II

Role Overview: The Specimen Processor II is responsible for preparing, processing, and managing laboratory specimens in a high-throughput environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process specimens for testing and analysis
• Accurately enter and verify patient data
• Label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Coordinate with client offices to resolve specimen and procedural issues
• Perform specialized processing such as spinning, freezing, and splitting specimens

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of medical or clinical laboratory experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass a standardized color blindness test
• Strong organizational, data entry, and attention to detail skills

Additional Requirements: Evening shifts with rotating Sundays and holidays are required.
