Specimen Processor - Second Shift

Role: Specimen Processor (Second Shift)

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis by unpacking, labeling, routing, and shipping
• Accurately identify and stage specimens for testing
• Pack and ship specimens to designated testing facilities
• Perform precise data entry of patient information
• Resolve and document problem specimens while meeting departmental production goals

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass standardized color blindness test
