What they need

About Us

My Journey SLT is a growing independent Speech and Language Therapy practice providing high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming services to children and families across West Sussex and the surrounding areas.

Based at our therapy centre in Cuckfield, our team supports children and young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. We work across clinic, home and school settings, delivering evidence-based therapy that helps children develop their communication skills, confidence and independence.

Our therapists support children with a variety of communication needs, including speech sound difficulties, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), autism, selective mutism, and other language development differences. We have experience supporting neurodivergent children and aim to provide therapy that respects each child’s individual communication style and strengths.

At My Journey SLT, we are committed to a neurodiversity-affirming approach, recognising and valuing different ways of communicating. We work closely with families, schools and other professionals to ensure that therapy is practical, meaningful and embedded into the child’s everyday environments.

As an independent practice, we value clinical autonomy, professional development and high standards of care. Our therapists are supported to develop their clinical interests while contributing to a growing service focused on delivering high-quality therapy for children and families.

As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our team of therapists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to children and families.
