We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to work on a locum basis in Scotland . Please see details of the role below:

Role: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist

Days: Monday–Friday

Hours: Full time

Pay: £32 per hour
Start: ASAP

Length: Until 2nd October 2026, with potential to extend

Additional Info:
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join an acute hospital service, working primarily within a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) .

The role will also involve providing SLT cover across general medicine and surgery , supporting the wider acute service as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acute SLT with a strong background in stroke and dysphagia.

Experience working within a High Dependency Unit (HDU) would be highly beneficial.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration
• Right to Work in the UK
• Previous acute hospital Speech and Language Therapy experience
• Strong experience within stroke services, ideally HASU
• Dysphagia assessment and management experience
• Ability to work across general medicine and surgical caseloads
• HDU experience desirable
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy acute caseload
