Training and Professional Development
Many newly licensed SLPAs begin positions without receiving enough practical training or support. At Global Speech and Rehab Services, you will not simply be handed a caseload and expected to figure everything out on your own.
Each SLPA receives structured onboarding and hands-on training based on their experience and individual needs. You will work with experienced SLPs who can provide guidance with treatment implementation, data collection, documentation, therapy materials, behavior management, parent communication, and other clinical questions.
Supervision is provided in accordance with applicable requirements. Regular check-ins and additional support are available throughout employment, with the level of support adjusted as you develop confidence and independence.
A materials stipend is also provided to help you obtain resources for your therapy sessions.

- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the Florida Department of Health
- Warm, patient, and engaging approach when working with children
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to document services accurately and on time
