Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our early intervention team. Duties

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients across various settings such as in home, preschools, and teletherapy
• Conduct speech therapy exercises and activities with children and students to promote language development, articulation, and social skills
• Support early intervention programs by working closely with young children to address developmental delays and facilitate communication growth
• Prepare therapy materials, assist with data collection, and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and IFSP

Skills

• Strong experience working with children and students in educational or clinical environments
• Knowledge of pediatrics, speech therapy techniques, and early intervention strategies
• Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology
• Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a positive attitude and motivating patients
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, patients, and families

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
