Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Henderson, NC

In this position, you’ll work closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist, collaborating on a caseload of approximately 75 students. Qualifications & Experience

• Active North Carolina SLPA license (required)
• Previous school-based experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Prepare materials and assist with activities as directed by supervising SLP
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members to foster student success
