Compensation: 50% of Net Collections

Schedule/Hours: Monday – Friday afternoon availability

Join Sasco River Center's multidisciplinary team as a Speech Language Pathologist!

As a Speech Pathologist at Sasco River Center, you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages overcome communication and speech challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, making a significant impact on the lives of those you serve. You will work in an innovative, family-centered, multidisciplinary practice offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapy services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Our team specializes in collaborative and comprehensive testing, psychotherapy and sensory processing.

Speech Pathologist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities, identifying communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific goals and objectives for each client's needs.
• Provide evidence-based speech therapy, including articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, and voice therapy, as required by the client's diagnosis.
• Educate clients and their families on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and home exercises to support progress.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive client care.

Speech Pathologist Full-Time Benefits (this role starts as part-time and may have an opportunity to transition into a full-time position):

• Compensation: 50% of Net Collections; estimated annual salary equivalent to $100,000

Requirements

Speech Pathologist Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Specialized experience in pediatric speech therapy is a plus!
