As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Orchards at Three Rivers, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our patients and residents. About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders in patients and residents
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to promote patient progress
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess patients' cognitive and communicative abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
• Conduct therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills, using evidence-based practices and established protocols
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech language pathology
