What they need

Company Description Стъпка напред / Stepforward is a center dedicated to language, speech, cognitive, sensory-motor, and psycho-emotional development for children, with a focus on prevention, intervention, and therapy. Established in 2017, the center builds on the long-term practice and experience of its founders and is guided by family-centered values. Stepforward emphasizes evidence-based good practices, innovation, and its own vision and approach in speech therapy. It is one of the fastest growing therapeutic centers in Sofia, bringing together multidisciplinary specialists who share the goal of supporting children’s overall development. The center actively engages with families and the community through educational videos and content on its YouTube channel and social networks.

Role Description This is a full-time Speech Language Pathologist role in a hybrid work arrangement, primarily based at our center in Sofia with some flexibility for work from home. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children, using individualized treatment plans and evidence-based therapeutic methods. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, delivering individual and small-group therapy sessions, documenting progress, and collaborating with other specialists and caregivers to support holistic development. The role also involves educating families on strategies to reinforce therapy at home, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, and contributing to the center’s educational initiatives and materials.
