About Mantra Speech Therapy
Mantra Speech Therapy is an SLP-owned and SLP-managed private practice providing individualized speech and language services to children and adults throughout Texas.
We understand what makes contract work sustainable for an SLP: a manageable caseload, clinical autonomy, responsive support, streamlined documentation, flexibility, and clear expectations. Our goal is to handle the administrative side of private practice while allowing clinicians to focus primarily on providing thoughtful, individualized therapy.
Most current in-person opportunities involve pediatric clients seen in Montessori schools, preschools, childcare centers, and other community-based settings. Seeing multiple clients at one location may be possible, helping reduce travel between sessions.
This position may be an excellent fit for an SLP who works in a school, has another part-time position, maintains a private caseload, or wants to gradually gain experience in private practice without committing to a large caseload.
Current Client Opportunities
Current clients are available in Irving, Texas, allowing the selected clinician to begin with an existing small caseload rather than waiting for an entire caseload to be developed.
The initial need is approximately 4 to 6 sessions per week, with the option to accept additional referrals as they become available. Most sessions are 30 minutes and take place in Montessori schools or similar educational settings.
Additional clients may be offered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area based on:
- Your preferred service areas
- Your travel radius
- Your available days and times
- Referral availability
- Scheduling compatibility
The Argyle area is another potential area for future client development. Clinicians located near Argyle, Denton, Flower Mound, Northlake, or surrounding communities are encouraged to indicate their interest and preferred travel radius.
Some telehealth referrals may also become available. Clinicians interested in working with adults may indicate that preference during the application process.
Compensation
This position is paid per completed treatment session, not by the hour.
The treatment rate is:
- $40–$42 per completed 30-minute treatment session, depending on experience and qualifications
Four completed sessions provide $160–$168 in session-based compensation. Clinicians may accept additional clients as referrals become available and as their schedules allow.
The per-session rate includes the treatment session and its associated brief session documentation. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, so compensation is based on completed services rather than time clocked.

Caseload and Schedule
The current need is approximately 4 to 6 sessions per week in Irving, with opportunities to accept additional clients over time.
A consistent minimum availability of 4 sessions per week is requested. Contractors determine which referrals fit their schedules and may identify the days, times, locations, and number of clients they are available to accept.
Most current pediatric appointments occur during weekday school hours or afternoons. Depending on scheduling and enrollment at each location, it may be possible to see multiple clients consecutively at the same school or childcare center.
This opportunity may be a particularly good fit for an SLP who:
- Works in a school and wants a small supplemental caseload
- Has another part-time position
- Maintains an existing private caseload
- Wants to explore private-practice work with support
- Prefers control over weekly availability
- Wants to avoid taking on a large caseload
- Enjoys relationship-based pediatric therapy
- Would like to increase a caseload gradually over time
Additional caseload growth depends on referrals, geography, scheduling compatibility, and the clinician’s availability. A full-time caseload or specific number of future referrals is not guaranteed.
