Speech Language Pathologist

Growing Minds Therapy is a private outpatient pediatric clinic in Miami, FL. Mainly serving the Kendall and surrounding areas, we are seeking a motivated speech-language pathologist to join our team-oriented practice. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment that encourages therapists to think outside the box while changing the world one child at a time!

We offer services at preschools, private schools, therapy centers and our clinic.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on children. Analyze, interpret and document evaluation results.
• Write reports and develop patient care plans with long and short-term goals.
• Treat a variety of communication delays/disorders including but not limited to speech, language, auditory processing, motor planning, oral motor and social/pragmatic abilities.
• Provide caregiver/parent education and generalization techniqes to support carry-over
• Make appropriate referrals for additional services such as neurology, psychiatry, dentistry, audiology, behavior therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, etc.

SLP/SLP-CF Requirements:

• Master Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Florida (DOH) licensure
• Certification of Clinical Competence by ASHA or CF
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Certified Driver's License
• Level II background screening fingerprints
• English speaking; Spanish is welcomed, but not required
