Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Early Intervention (First Steps)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to children from birth to age 3 in the home or community settings through Indiana First Steps.

This role involves evaluating communication and feeding needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering effective speech and language interventions. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support children in reaching developmental milestones.

Pay: $80 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and IFSP goals.
• Deliver speech, language, and feeding interventions that support communication development.
• Collaborate with other First Steps professionals, including developmental therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
• Provide guidance and education to families to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Accurately document treatment and maintain up to date records in compliance with state and program guidelines.
• Stay informed on evidence based practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Indiana license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with pediatric populations and early intervention (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families through meaningful, personalized care.
