Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing communication and swallowing abilities across diverse populations. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention evaluations and evaluations for individuals with disabilities or speech impairments
• Develop tailored speech-language therapy plans based on assessment findings, physiology knowledge, and anatomy understanding to address specific communication needs
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques across various settings such as schools, clinics, hospitals, or via telehealth platforms
• Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and facilitate progress toward communication goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech therapy, language therapy, voice modulation, fluency enhancement, and swallowing strategies as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards
• Educate patients and their families about communication disorders, treatment strategies, and home practice exercises to support ongoing improvement

Experience

• Proven experience working with pediatric populations in early intervention or school settings is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in speech-language pathology plan implementation for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities
• Prior experience working with geriatric patients on communication or swallowing challenges is a plus
• Strong background in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations utilizing anatomy knowledge and physiology principles
• Familiarity with medical billing.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology assessments and treatments
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care across diverse environments
• Experience working with children with special needs or developmental delays enhances your candidacy

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
