Speech-Language Pathologist

Spenceton Educational Evaluation Services PLLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full school-year placement supporting Houston ISD. This role includes speech therapy services and speech/language evaluations for students receiving special education services.

Position Overview

• Job Type: Contract / 1099
• Schedule: Full School Year (August 2026 – May/June 2027)
• Setting: On-site, HISD campuses
• Caseload: Therapy + evaluations

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct speech therapy to students according to IEP service minutes
• Conduct speech and language evaluations as part of Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
• Develop and implement IEP goals, progress monitoring, and therapy plans
• Maintain therapy documentation and service logs
• Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports using district templates (Frontline)
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to present findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with Diagnosticians, LSSPs, teachers, and campus teams

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLP license (TDLR)
• CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience providing school-based therapy and evaluations
• Strong documentation and time‑management skills
• Able to pass TEA/IdentoGO fingerprinting
