We are currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist serving in a skilled nursing facility setting. This dynamic role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to make a real difference in patients’ lives across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals
• Perform dysphagia assessments and provide safe swallowing interventions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, OT, PT, physicians, and dietitians
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Participate in care plan meetings and team conferences as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
