Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients across age groups, including children with developmental delays and adults with speech impairments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and effective communication strategies.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and patient care activities.
• Provide telehealth therapy services when appropriate, ensuring seamless remote care delivery that maintains high standards of patient engagement and effectiveness.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans for individuals with disabilities or complex medical conditions.

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant state or region.
• Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention programs and school settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments, language delays, or swallowing disorders.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions.
• Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and developing evidence-based therapy plans.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, including children with disabilities and geriatric patients requiring specialized care.
• Telehealth experience is preferred; must be comfortable delivering remote therapy sessions using secure platforms.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
