Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients of adult ages, including geriatrics
• Develop and implement tailored speech-language therapy plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Provide engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques for speech therapy, language therapy, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), maintaining compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home and in daily activities.
• Utilize platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Proven experience working with geriatric populations and programs.
• Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to communication disorders.
• Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities.
• Familiarity with working in home health and outpatient setting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare or educational environments.
• Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Home health experience is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability to in person service delivery models.

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
