Speech-Language Pathologist

KBS Academy, Pathways, and Bridge are private school settings that are looking for a SLP!

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings as needed
• Develop and implement individualized therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, behavior consultants, related service providers, and families
• Support students with functional communication, social communication, receptive/expressive language, articulation, and pragmatic language needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to present levels, goals, progress updates, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress monitoring data
• Support communication programming across the school setting
• Provide consultation and strategies to classroom teams to promote carryover of skills

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility
• Experience working with students with autism, emotional support needs, AAC, and/or complex communication needs preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• A compassionate, student-centered approach
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team environment
