Speech Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing assessments.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on each child's clinical needs and developmental goals.
• Provide one-to-one and/or group speech and language therapy sessions.
• Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, speech and language disorders, articulation difficulties, stammering, and communication challenges.
• Support children in developing functional communication, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and speech clarity.
• Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and appropriate assessment tools.
• Monitor and document children's progress and modify therapy goals when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, session notes, assessment reports, and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers regarding therapy goals, progress, and home-based activities.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Special Educators, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, parent consultations, and professional development activities.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards in all clinical activities.
• Follow the policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to the Dubai branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional license/eligibility to practice in the UAE, preferably DHA eligibility/license or willingness to obtain the required licensing.
• Relevant clinical experience in pediatric speech and language therapy is preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities will be an advantage.

Experience

Preferred: 2+ years of experience in pediatric speech and language therapy, particularly with children with autism and developmental needs.
