Band 6 | Gibraltar | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are recruiting an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for a 12-month fixed-term position supporting children and young people aged 0 to 17.

The package includes a salary of £40,621 to £51,354 per annum, accommodation and a return flight.

The role

You will manage a varied paediatric caseload across SLT clinics, community settings and schools.

Your caseload will include children and young people presenting with:

• Developmental language disorder

• Speech sound and articulation disorders

• Learning disabilities

• Autism spectrum conditions

• Fluency difficulties

You will work alongside experienced Senior Band 7 Speech and Language Therapists and collaborate closely with the wider paediatric multidisciplinary team.

Essential requirements

To be considered, you will need:

• Current HCPC registration

• RCSLT membership

• At least two years’ clinical experience working with children and young people aged 0 to 17

• Experience supporting a broad range of paediatric communication needs

• The ability to work flexibly and effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Experience in paediatric dysphagia assessment and management would be desirable but is not essential.
