Need SLP license in MICHIGAN state

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a tele health setting
• Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders and TBI.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with advancements in speech therapy techniques and research

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid MICHIGAN state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
