Speech Language Pathologist

The Role
Expressive Therapy Group is an SLP-owned interdisciplinary private practice based in the Chicago suburbs, we are seeking a part-time to full-time SLP (4-5 days/week) to the team in our Romeoville location. This position provides the opportunity to work with both pediatric and transition students (aged 18-22). This role involves delivering neurodiversity-affirming speech therapy and social communication training in a private therapeutic day school. The role is somewhat customizable depending on the goals and skills of the individual therapist.

Duties

• Evaluation and treatment of individuals with speech and language disorders
• Keep documentation up to date
• Educate families and caregivers
• Collaborate with related professionals

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (Strong clinical fellow candidates considered)
• Experience working with all ages in an outpatient setting
• Experience or willingness to learn any of these areas: voice, fluency, feeding, oral motor, literacy, AAC, natural language acquisition, neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches
• Experience working with school-age and teens preferred

Pay: $37.00 - $65.00 per hour
