Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech therapy, particularly with experience in pediatrics and early intervention. This role involves assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, providing patient-centered care to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and techniques for improvement.
• Stay updated on advancements in speech therapy practices and methodologies.

Experience

• A degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as required for practice.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, particularly in school settings or early intervention programs.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and relevant assessment tools.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and their families.
