Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluations for K-12 students on a Per Diem basis in the Pennsylvania area for the 26-27 school year. Qualified candidates will enjoy flexible work schedules and all major holidays off. We offer competitive pay rates.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current PA Certified Speech & Language Pathologist License
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
• PA Department of Education Federal Criminal History Report (FBI)
• PA Arrest Conviction Form (Act 24) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
• PA Act 168 Clearance
• Must obtain Limited Lability Insurance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized and informal assessments
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and reevaluations
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop measurable communication goals and objectives
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Educate families regarding speech and language development
• Provide consultation regarding speech and language development
• Adhere to ASHA's Code of Ethics and Pennsylvania professional standards
