Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate in person Speech Language Pathologists to join our team. You will work with school aged clients in schools focusing on assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with speech and language challenges, particularly in pediatric settings and early intervention programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities including BDI, REELS, PLS - 5
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Provide guidance and education to families regarding speech development and therapy goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to speech and language functions.
• Experience working in school settings is preferred
• Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving communication outcomes for individuals with speech disorders.

Pay: $65.00 - $100.00 per hour
