Job description:
About Spark Speech:
At Spark Speech, we’re more than a private practice — we’re a place where children play, learn, and thrive. Based in Charlotte, NC, our mission is to support children throughout their communication journey by providing top-notch, evidence-based speech therapy in a fun, functional, and family-centered environment.
We believe therapy should be just as unique and special as the children we serve. That’s why we focus on building meaningful relationships, celebrating progress, and turning challenges into opportunities.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children and families, embraces a play-based approach to therapy, and is committed to helping children reach their full communication potential.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility, a supportive team environment, and room to grow in a thriving private practice setting.
This position is for a Traveling SLP. Sessions will take place across multiple settings, including our partner preschools, daycares, private schools, and occasional home visits. Our SLPs enjoy the opportunity to work with children in a variety of environments while building strong relationships with families, educators, and community partners. Sessions will take place within a 5–15 minute radius of our Myers Park office, with the majority of travel concentrated in the Cotswold, Eastover, Plaza Midwood, Oakhurst, SouthPark, Dilworth, and Myers Park areas. This allows our SLPs to serve children in their natural environments while keeping travel time manageable between sessions..
