About The Role We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Sumner. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop communication skills that support academic success, social development, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support AAC implementation and other communication strategies when appropriate
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid CA State SLP license and ESA certification (or ability to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
