our multidisciplinary team. In this specialty role, you will evaluate and treat patients with
voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders in close partnership with
otolaryngologists and fellow speech-language pathologists.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who values collaborative,
physician-based care and wants to deepen their expertise in the diagnosis and
management of complex laryngeal, airway, and swallowing conditions.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of voice, upper airway, and
swallowing disorders.
Perform and interpret videostroboscopic examinations in collaboration with
ENT physicians.
Conduct comprehensive voice evaluations and deliver individualized, evidence-
based voice therapy.
Manage functional and structural voice disorders, including vocal fold lesions,
paresis or paralysis, and other laryngeal conditions.
Evaluate and manage swallowing disorders in a medically complex patient
population.
Partner with ENT physicians and other members of the care team to develop
coordinated diagnostic and treatment plans.
Educate patients and caregivers about vocal health, swallowing safety, and
upper-airway function.
Document clinical findings promptly and accurately, and communicate
recommendations clearly to referring providers.
Contribute to a collaborative clinical environment with fellow speech-language
pathologists and ENT providers.
Stay current with evidence-based practices and advances in voice, airway, and swallowing assessment and treatment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of
Swallowing).
Experience caring for patients with head and neck cancer, including post-
surgical and post-radiation swallowing rehabilitation.
Experience in an ENT practice, voice center, or other specialty medical setting.
A strong interest in developing or expanding expertise in voice, upper airway, and
swallowing disorders.
Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative approach to working with physicians and other healthcare
professionals.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate
of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to obtain both.
Demonstrated expertise and clinical proficiency in videostroboscopy.
Strong skills in clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient-
centered care.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including timely clinical documentation.
About the Role
This is a part-time position. Scheduling and clinical hours will be determined based on
the needs of the practice and the selected candidate’s availability.
You will join a specialized ENT practice where speech-language pathologists are
integral members of the care team and work closely with otolaryngologists throughout
evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, clinically skilled, and passionate
about specialty SLP care. They value close physician-SLP partnership, thoughtful
clinical decision-making, and exceptional patient care.
Why Join ENT Specialty Care?
Work alongside experienced ENT physicians and speech-language
pathologists.
Build or expand a specialized practice in voice, upper airway, and swallowing
disorders.
Care for a diverse and medically complex patient population.
Participate in collaborative evaluation, clinical decision-making, and treatment
planning.
