A pediatric private practice is seeking a New Jersey-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at our Scotch Plains office.

This is a flexible, part-time 1099 position for an SLP who would like to add private practice hours to their schedule. We currently have families in the area seeking services and are looking for a clinician who can establish a consistent afternoon caseload.

Current Scheduling Need

Afternoon/evening availability is preferred.

Treatment sessions are typically 30 minutes and can be scheduled consecutively to create a convenient block of clinical hours. The caseload can start small and grow based on clinician availability and interest.

Clinical Services

The SLP will provide pediatric speech-language evaluations and treatment based on each child's individual needs. Areas of treatment may include:

• Articulation and speech sound development
• Receptive and expressive language
• Autism and social communication
• AAC and functional communication
• Developmental communication delays

Office Setting

Services are provided at our Scotch Plains location:

551 Park Avenue
Scotch Plains, NJ

The office is located on the first floor of a professional suite shared with other pediatric providers. The SLP has a private treatment room for evaluations and therapy sessions.

Wi-Fi is available. Clinicians provide their own laptop/tablet and other personal technology used for sessions.

Practice Support

The practice provides:

• EHR access
• Q-global assessment access
• Evaluation protocols and testing resources
• Documentation templates
• Billing and administrative support

Clinicians are able to focus on evaluation, treatment, documentation, and communication with families while the practice manages billing and other administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting
• Reliable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule

Position Type: Part-time, 1099 independent contractor
