Speech-Language Pathologist - PRN

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments for children.
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques across various settings, including telehealth platforms when applicable.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches based on assessment outcomes and evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, exercises, and techniques to support ongoing progress at home.

Experience

• Proven experience working with pediatric populations in early intervention or school settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy and language therapy across diverse age groups, including working with children with disabilities.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
• Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and implementing effective therapy plans.
• Familiarity with telehealth therapy delivery methods and experience providing remote services is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Prior work with individuals with speech impairments or communication disorders in clinical or educational environments is desirable.

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
