Speech Language Pathologist School-Based (Just one student!)

Overview
We are seeking a 1099 SLP to provide school-based services on a VERY part-time basis (~2-3 hours per week) for one homebound student with medical needs. HYBRID work available - document from home! Flexible scheduling, ideal for someone looking for light supplemental income!

Duties

• Provide speech-language pathology services for one student with individualized needs in a school/homebound setting.
• Conduct or review evaluations as needed and develop/update the student’s speech and language goals and services.
• Deliver direct and compensatory therapy sessions (frequency determined by the IEP).
• Provide consultative support to the teacher and staff to help the student access the curriculum and school environment.
• Address articulation, receptive/expressive language, social communication, fluency, and functional communication skills as appropriate.
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with the educational team and family.
• Recommend classroom accommodations, communication supports, or adaptive tools tailored to the student’s needs.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio speech-language pathology license
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work very part-time (approximately 2–3 hours per week).
• Ability to pass required school or district background checks.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
