Hybrid/Remote Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid/remote SLP position based in or near Weatherford, TX, supporting patients throughout our Texas service areas.

The position offers the flexibility to complete many visits remotely, while in-person visits are expected whenever a patient is located within a reasonable driving distance of Weatherford. This allows us to provide flexible care while still maintaining a strong local presence for our patients.

Ideal candidates will live in Weatherford or the surrounding area.

What You'll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, oral motor, and swallowing disorders. You’ll develop individualized care plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and work closely with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations and identify patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized Plans of Care.
• Provide therapy and interventions as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, strategies, and recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with applicable professional, payer, and agency requirements.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as an SLP in a clinical setting.
• Home health experience preferred.

Education & Licensure

• Master’s degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in good standing in applicable state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to adapt to different patient populations and environments.

Work Environment

• Hybrid/remote position based in or near Weatherford, TX.
• Remote visits available when appropriate based on patient needs and location.
• In-person visits expected for patients located within a reasonable driving distance.
• Local travel required for in-person visits.
• Flexible scheduling based on patient and business needs.
• Ability to safely perform patient-related activities, including lifting/transferring up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$60–$75/hour equivalent. This is a PRN Pay-Per-Visit (PPV) position, with compensation based on visit type and productivity points. PRN visit rates range from $75–$85 per visit.
