Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Blue Springs, MO

Bring your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a contract assignment supporting students’ communication growth in a school-based setting. This full-time position offers flexibility, accepting on-site or VOCO (virtual) candidates. The assignment covers a maternity leave and runs from February through the end of the school year in May.

Key Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience in schools preferred, with a solid understanding of IEP development
• Proficiency with SPED Track and related educational technology is a plus
• Skills in both supervision and direct therapy delivery
• Previous oversight or mentorship of SLPAs highly valued

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
• Supervise a team of SLPAs, offering support and guidance in their daily work
• Organize and manage IEP meetings and documentation through SPED Track
• Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt therapy methods to meet both in-person and VOCO caseload needs
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administrators to support student outcomes
