Position Overview

As a Mobile Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide individualized therapy services to adults 50+ throughout North Austin.

This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working independently, building strong patient relationships, and providing therapy in a more personal and comfortable environment.

You will have the opportunity to make a measurable difference in your patients' communication, cognitive, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Establish meaningful relationships with patients and families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as appropriate
• Provide education and recommendations to patients, families, and caregivers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow all applicable professional, regulatory, and organizational requirements

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with adults 50+
• Experience treating cognitive-communication disorders
• Experience treating swallowing disorders
• LSVT LOUD certification
• SPEAK OUT! training
• Previous outpatient, home-based, mobile, or independent living experience
