Upword Speech Therapy is a highly rated, locally owned pediatric speech therapy practice based on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Our leadership and clinical team live and work here on the islands, bringing local knowledge, collaboration, and hands-on support to the schools and communities we serve.

We're looking for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our close-knit, growing team as we expand our school partnerships and private practice services across Hawaiʻi.

Current & Upcoming Opportunities:

School-Based Positions

We are recruiting for full-time and part-time, in-person school-based SLP positions across Hawaiʻi, including:

• Oʻahu: Honolulu, Windward, Leeward, and Central districts
• Neighbor Islands: Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island

Private Practice Opportunities

We also have growing opportunities to provide pediatric speech therapy through:

• In-home sessions across Oʻahu
• Teletherapy, based on licensure and client needs
• Private preschool and early childhood settings

Daytime and after-school opportunities may be available. Whether you're interested in a full-time school position, adding a few private clients to your existing schedule, or combining different settings, we're open to exploring a caseload that fits your interests and availability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Hawaiʻi SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for a supervised Clinical Fellowship
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Reliable transportation for in-person positions
